Tried the Starbucks iced Mocha today, i must say i am not impress at all, in fact i felt it is too expensive for a drink and that Starbucks is only worthy for a coffee. Everything else is too expensive.
At night i want to try the McDonald new drinks, i ended up getting a strawberry banana smoothie, haven't had one for a long time. It felt a little too sour to my taste and not sweet enough or creamy enough. and it was too frozen for the straw. Overall an OK drink at a lower than everyone else price. But i do felt the medium sized felt more like a small sized.

new place
Today i heard the soon to be open burger place next to us is hiring people starting at $10 an hour. That sounds so lucrative and everyone is talking about the potential of working there. But my wage is already higher than that, not a concern for me.
Been almost 1 year
Wow it have almost been 1 year since i last posted. I really got lazy with this haha, hope to do more posts from now on

York's Wild Kingdom
My day off, my oldest sister going to York's Wild Kingdom with her children and Suz ended up going too so she brings me too. I did not wanted to go anywhere on my off days usually, because i am just want to do nothing and rest.
I have no clue of what the animal kingdom they talking about which i never been or heard of. We left around 4pm and get there around 5pm via drive. The entrance to the park is a long and narrow road surrounded all by trees, almost felt like driving into the heart of a forest. After a few minutes of driving the small road we see the parking place, it's a dirt parking without pavements. There are plenty of parking spaces. The place is pretty nice, there are plenty of trees around the rides, thus it's not hot at all there are shades everywhere. The rides are mostly for kids, most won't allow people over 48". Only a few are allowing adults such as the bumper cars, ferris wheel, and racing track. There also a zoo with lots of animal. It reminds me of the fair at Farmington that only accur once a year. But this place is not as packed with people. Maybe it's because we went there kinda late at evening.
There also another entrance by the ferris wheel, which is next to the streets with cars and shops on the sides. I took the walk down the streets and eventually got to the beach too, not a very big beach but it's nice. I haven't been to the beach in so long, the breezing wind have the smell of seaweeds. The sands are soft and fine. Watching each wave crashing on the shore is refreshing, one wave ends another follows shortly, and endless cycle repeats itself. There are many houses along the shore too, ocean front house facing an ocean, staying in one of those houses during an vacation and watching the ocean seem so relaxing. What a perfect place to spend vacations.
As i walk back to the park along the street, a lot of people are staring at one of the shop, at first i thought it was and icecream shop, but at a closer look it's also a candy shop, the machines are rotating with some sweet stuff, I also notice one of the machine is producing candies. A line of candies down the chain and being cut into pieces, there's also a roll of candy papers rolling and cover up the candy. The finished product coming out one by one, almost felt like i am at one of the candy factory. There were a lot of customers at the shop waiting to taste the freshly produced candies.
Back to the park, i saw Suz just buy a fried dough, it was a big one, almost like an 12" pizza, but it's very thin. nevertheless it's a lot bigger in diameter than other fair's fried dough. she said she had to wait like 10 min for it to be fried. We sit down by the icecream shop and start tearing it apart and eat it up hungerily like a wolf. As expected 1 isn't enough for all of us, so i go and buy another and also some FF along with it, the fried dough cost $4, and the large FF cost $6.5.
The kids all pay for the all day rides and happily trying out each and every rides repeatedly. They are having so much fun and it all worth the $10 pass, just riding once would be 2-4 tokens, which cost 50 cents each token, all in all it was well worth it. They didn't want to leave until the park closing at 9pm, even so they still running around and trying to get more rides in.
I think we left around 9:15, and got home at around 10:15 or so, didn't check the time exactly and we cooked thin rice noodle with veggie soup for dinner. Jen's family came over and staying the night as well. It's her husbands week off vacation and she said it ended so fast.

Tonight is the second night of our Ulduar 10 raid, but i did not want to go because i don't want to raid so many nights a week. Also the remaining bosses does not drop anything i really need or want, so i ended up skipping it, As for last night, the raid did not went that well, because i am the OT of group 2, and i am not really that good at tanking that place, i am mostly just dps'ing. New tanks learning fights usually means some wipes. A lot of us really don't need much gears from that place anyway, except for hard modes, and group 2 haven't really done much hard modes at all. First boss is Flame Leviathan, i think we done 2 towers up for that, with max 4 towers up being the hardest. We have 1 wipe because 1 of the demolisher die early and that is like most of our damages coming from. We downed him on second trie. I am just gunning for a seige which is one of the least important job as always... Then we skipped the optional bosses Ignis, Razerscale, and Iron Council in favor of the later bosses and for trying some of the hard modes.
Next one up is XT, and we intend on doing the hard mode, which requires burst dps on his heart that he only expose for a very short time, if we succeed in bringing that heart down then the hard mode starts and which we did. Once the hard mode starts there are 2 things i have to watch out for, light bomb and gravity bomb, our strategy is people with light bomb go to the south of raid and gravity goes north and drop the black holes there. The person with light bomb will spawn a spark, which does aoe damages to the whole raid, and melee can't go close to it, so it's something only range dps need to burn down asap so healers have an easier time. At first i was on taunting spark duty, but then the leaders decides to just let me dps only because the boss isn't going down fast enough and needed my dps. I think we had 1 wipe and then we succeeded with that hard mode, which is pretty suprising because even group 1 haven't done it yet, group is the better group because they have more consistent members, where group 2 always have to find new healer or dps to fill in which makes it harder. Even the OT keeps changing. And he drops the melee sword that looks really good, it's with 2 sockets, basically anything with sockets are better without and especially weapons which are rare to have sockets.
This is getting too long i will just write is briefly, next boss is kologam, auriaya, both went down ez. and next is hodir, the leader wanted the hard mode but it's just a dps race, ended up wiping 2-3 times on him and didn't get the hard mode, which imo we are far away from it. the drops sux as well, didn't drop my Tier legging. Next up is thorim, also tried the hard mode of it. to get the hard mode the people inside tunnel have to finish it within 2:30 min, it's my first time tanking it for hard mode, on 1st try i let some dps die because i didn't taunt the adds that got loose, I was nervous too because it's my 1st time tanking it, moving lightning fast and keep the aggro off the dps seem hard at first, but i manage to do it on 2nd attempt, and we got the hard mode to start, but we wiped on phase 2. Then theres are few more wipes, and we finally just down him regular mode, and my tier shoulder didn't drop either, which i don't need anyway. It was 2:40 am and i just logged really fast because i am not interest in the loots and wanted to get some sleep in real fast, because i have to wake at 8:40 next day so i can get to work at 9:30 only 6 hours of sleep, don't think that's good for my health, but i am getting used to it i guess, and that is 1 of the reason i don't want to raid so much, i need to get more sleeps.

Haven't really started writing anything since created this, hopefully i can start to write more.
Another work day, another day of boring fest, today is a pretty slow day, it's a sunny day, sunny days always slow and raining days are busy.
Kinda late since i did not write anything on July 4, but i went with my sister and their kids to watch the fireworks at the old orchid Beach. this is the first year i go with them, they said they went there last year too, it's about 30 min drive from where we live, we go pretty late too, around 9pm, we did not go that close to see the fireworks, we just park the car next to a road near Rite Aid. I don't really know where that is, but we can see the firework from there. As for the firework itself, it did not impress me much, it is not bad, just i got spoil by the one from Boston. I went to the Boston fireworks twice when i was living there, and i am impress both time, a small city's firework can't really compare to a big city's. The firework from boston is so much higher and almost 3 times the size, the ones i remember the most are the ones dropping down slowly, almost felt like some galaxy is slowly approaching, also i remember they do some special ones for the 911 event that year. Anyways i really miss the firework of boston. Hope i will be able to see it live again and hopefully with someone i love.
As for july 5, it's sunday and my day off, my oldest sister still here with us and we done some BBQ. I am the one to start the grill, it's the second time i am doing it, it's using charcoals, those are a pain in the ass to light up. I think it took me like half an hour to and hour to have it fully lid up, learning from the first time, i use dried woods to to get a fire going this time, and put the charcoals on top of the fire, the fire went out a few time even with the woods, during my first time i was using only papers, but it didn't last long enough to heat up the coals, and i started using woods, which can burn a lot longer than papers.
When the coals are finally ready for cooking, we started putting on the food slowly, the first time we fill up the whole grill with food too fast and almost burned the food, because the heat is very strong and we couldn't flip the foods fast enough. This time we have chicken wings, pork ribs, hot dogs, and hamburger for food, we start grilling like 2 of each to ensure everyone can eat what they like, the kids like the hot dogs especially, they didn't use the buns either, and i think they all eat like 2 each, but they didn't touch the wings or ribs. I guess kids growing up in america don't really like food with bones. I personally liked the wings and ribs, and i don't want to eat hamburger because it would fill me up so fast and i like to eat more of other foods. As for hot dogs, i got sick of those long time ago back in high school, they cook it so bad there, it almost taste like they just steam it there. and also my friend Wing tell me hot dogs are made of any kind of meat, that makes me sick of it everytime i think about it. I ate a lot of wings and por ribs, and they are good because any food freshly cooked always good regardless of taste. We have lots of leftover too, also because we cooked slower this time, the coals went out of heat before we can finish cooking everything, the last few rib didn't get fully cooked and there still lots of hamburgers left. BBQ truly is one of my favorite
